Château Monestier La Tour is located just outside of Bordeaux and its origins date back to the 13th century. Today, remnants of its past mingle with elements of modern winemaking as Stéphane Derenoncourt (head vigneron) and Michelle D’Aprix (the only American female winemaker in Bordeaux) use organic practices to cultivate their vines. They’ve created an aromatic and weighty white blend, defined by dry character and fresh flavors of pineapple and grapefruit. Their Blanc would be heavenly with shellfish, oysters, or even seafood pasta.
Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Muscadelle
