This Zinfandel is a blend of Beasley, Treborce, Larrick, Wellstone, Voigt, and Branham Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley. The multiple sites, climates and soil types give a character of the appellation and a variety of different expressions and flavors. The pieces were vinified separately and blended at the first racking in January of 2010 including about 10% Petite Syrah. The final blend was aged in a combination of French and American oak with 25% new oak (half French and half American).
Nose and Palate: fresh, diverse, dusty, pepper, nice spice.
